In this class, students will be introduced to the basics of MIG welding. First, students will have the opportunity to become proficient in MIG welding of T-joints and plug welds; we will also cover angle grinder safety and use. Then we will begin fabricating our candelabras and move on to painting, patina, and/or adding gold leaf. If students sign up early enough and have a specific design or theme in mind, you can coordinate with Paige up to three weeks before class to see whether we can accommodate your design.
