In this workshop, students will learn to work with silver metal clay, an accessible, hammer- and torch-free way to design and make real silver jewelry. Together, we will use building, texturing, firing, and finishing techniques to create a pair of double-sided textured earrings, complete with French hooks and a crystal accent, a pendant made from a mold, and a stacking ring. Students will have an opportunity to explore surface details on their finished pieces with polishing and patina, leaving with jewelry that is uniquely designed and crafted.
