Intermediate experience recommended; all levels welcome
Welding Fundamentals is an intermediate-level course, but serious beginners are welcome. Students will focus on multiple welding techniques and welding-related processes, gaining experience with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and Oxy/Acetylene. Through practical instruction and lectures, students will explore ferrous and non-ferrous metal welding and related safety best practices, leaving with a stronger, broader welding skill set.
For health and safety, please let the shop staff know if you have a pacemaker or internal defibrillator.
Please note: All Metal Museum welding classes are taught as hobby classes. These not certification classes.
